BINA NUSANTARA towards cashless society
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at improving the using of latest technology – called Flazz Card – was signed between BINA NUSANTARA and BCA. The highlight of the ceremony which was performed by CEO BINA NUSANTARA, Ir. Bernard Gunawan and Director of Pt. Bank Central Asia (BCA) Tbk, Suwignyo Budiman and witnessed by a number of management from both institutions took place on August 21 at Anggrek Campus BINUS UNIVERSITY, Jakarta.

Under the terms of the memorandum, the scope refers to the using of Flazz Card technology which integrated into BINUSIAN Card. BINUSIAN Card is an identity card for all BINUSIANS: students, alumni, teachers, training participants, and BINUS employees. The early function BINUSIAN Card as a BINUSIAN identity and also for discount card in all merchant that teamed with BINA NUSANTARA

The cooperation with BCA, as leader in the field of micro payment system in Indonesia, will give more added values of BINUSIAN Card which changed its name into BINUSIAN Card-Flazz as a new medium of exchange for BINUSIAN. The card has multifunction of purpose, e.g. BINUS students’ identity, library access, and as a micro payment medium, such as simple trade in canteen area. This partnership of BCA-Flazz Card has made BINA NUSANTARA as the first education institution which applied its system in Indonesia.

This cooperation showed that BINA NUSANTARA not only emphasizes its development in academic, but also be concerned of facility improvement which will give BINUSIAN an ease to do their activities, particularly in performing a business deal or financial transaction, both inside or outside BINA NUSANTARA. It is a breakthrough for BINA NUSANTARA towards cashless society,” explained Ir. Bernard Gunawan, CEO BINA NUSANTARA.
